A community center for a neighborhood in boston. The existing structure is a late 19th century firehouse which has a three story section on the street side and a two story side to the rear. The site is sloped and the lower level opens up to the courtyard to the rear of the site. The new program of the building will included commercial space, community theater, and artist live/work spaces.
