A digital marketing and media company in Boston, their growing existing office was originally sprawled out across an open loft space, with no defined spaces, entry, and waiting area among other things. The objective was to provide some of these spaces, but also to create a core which was called the "Office Village" where employees gathered for meetings, lunch breaks, presentations and collaborating. In addition a critical part of the renovation was to build a large studio for filming, and since this would be a critical part of their technology, it was meant to be on display whenever not in use. The solution was a glass box termed the "Fish Bowl" to maintain the openness of the space, but can be enclosed by a black drape.
