A remodel of an existing open loft space, the client's main request was to create ample storage for books, art, travel artifacts, A/V equipment, and even a mountain bike. In addition there was a need for a flexible private space which could function as both an office and a guest bedroom without necessarily creating an enclosed room to diminish the loft environment. Lastly, an existing kitchen required a face-lift without replacing the existing cabinets. The project was recognized in the Boston Globe for making the most design impact on a modest budget.
