A brick and beam open loft space is designed to add a loft-like master bedroom, a new full bathroom and lots of new storage space. The "spine" metaphor as a continuous band which organizes various spaces and functions unifies the entire loft spaces and defines public and private spaces. Within the "spine" various storage spaces are created in addition to the generous storage space under the master bedroom platform.
