An expansion to an existing historic home in Westport, Connecticut consisted of a seamless library addition to the main house, a new terrace and outdoor living room with an overhead trellis and outdoor fireplace. In addition, an existing historic carriage house on the property required extensive renovation, which was fully gutted to a few exterior wall structural elements, and completely rebuilt to conform with local historic preservation requirements.
